This is a step-by-step DIY (do it yourself) guide to submitting your own $5,000 FACTOR Artist Development grant application.
REQUIREMENTS:
MP3 and Lyrics for an unreleased track (or one that's been out less than 3 months prior to application)
A current artist biography (1-2 paragraphs)
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible you must have commercially released at least one track prior to application.
You are not eligible to apply if you have commercially released* music more than 3 years prior to application date (or have received funding of more than $10,000 from FACTOR in the past).
*Commercial release: “offered to the public for sale, download, stream, or other method of public consumption, via a music retailer or digital music service, provided that the nature of such offer is commercial, meaning that its purpose is to generate revenue of which the Artist whose performance is embodied on the sound recording is entitled to be paid a share”
$50 CREDIT GUARANTEE:
If the application is not successful, Grantable will give you $50 off your next application fee.
OPTIONAL ADD-ON:
For $50 + tax, someone from the Grantable team will review your application before you submit it.
