You can only apply to one (1) juried FACTOR program per fiscal year (April 1 - March 31).
This is a competitive program, to which artists should apply if they can demonstrate current marketplace momentum along with audience growth and engagement. An artist should be able to demonstrate the recent market success and accelerating momentum in their career via quantifiable metrics in any applicable spheres of activities; this information to be included in the applicant’s marketing plan.

Funding Available:

$10,000 for recording (50% upfront, 50% when recording is completed)
$15,000+ for marketing & tour support (if recording is approved)
$20,000 for videos (if recording is approved)
+ more for international touring, showcases, and radio marketing (if recording is approved)

Editing and feedback on all materials
- NOTE: For JSR projects, the editing and writing process — resulting in a professional document — is included in the application deposit. However, given how competitive the JSR program is, we recommend that your marketing plan gets “designed” for better presentation and to improve your chances of success. This can be done by a graphic designer on your team or yourself, or we can also provide this service (subject to availability).
